Another of Virginia’s historical cities, Alexandria is currently best known for being a primary suburb to the Capital. Historically, Alexandria has been a city wanted by many. Originally part of Virginia, it was chosen by George Washington to be part of the District of Columbia, and was only receded to Virginia in 1846 after they petitioned for it.
Many of its residents work in Washington, D.C., making Alexandria a very powerful and influential city. However, much of the Commonwealth’s recent population growth and economic surge has come on the southern banks of the Potomac River. Communities such as Herndon, Reston and Vienna near Dulles International Airport and others, such as Fairfax, Arlington, Falls Church, McLean, Annandale and Springfield boast a combination of vibrant residential neighborhood, high tech companies and local economies that support their local population centers.
If you live or work in this vibrant area of Virginia and require a Certified Appraisal for restaurant machinery, medical or dental equipment, transportation machinery, business office equipment, heavy machinery, agricultural or any other type of equipment, please contact Brumbaugh Appraisals to see how we can be of service to you.
